These selected research contributions emphasize reproducibility, resource constraints, and decision reliability.

01QUANTUM NETWORKINGQ-RITA: Deadline-Aware Entanglement Routing for RIS-Assisted Terrestrial Quantum LinksDeadline-aware entanglement routing with reconfigurable intelligent surfaces

I investigate deadline-aware routing and scheduling for terrestrial quantum links supported by reconfigurable intelligent surfaces through the Quantum Reconfigurable Intelligent Transmission Architecture.

Entanglement routingReconfigurable intelligent surfacesScheduling
METHODOLOGY

The architecture pairs slow path provisioning with deadline-aware scheduling. Reproducible IBM Quantum hardware experiments using IBM Qiskit Sampler record backend provenance across time-series, distance, and load sweeps and derive yield and compliance proxies for terrestrial links. These link-model studies do not constitute physical deployment of a network with reconfigurable intelligent surfaces or end-to-end network measurements.

02QUANTUM MACHINE LEARNING AND SECURITYVQC–ZTI: Variational Quantum Control for Zero Trust Protection of the Tactile InternetHybrid quantum anomaly evidence for zero-trust security

I study a framework that separates an off-path variational quantum classifier from deterministic on-path policy enforcement for Tactile Internet services.

Zero-trust securityHybrid quantum neural networkNetwork telemetry
METHODOLOGY

A 12-qubit, two-layer hybrid model implemented with PyTorch and PennyLane supplies off-path anomaly evidence to deterministic on-path zero-trust enforcement. Analytic quantum simulation evaluates aggregates derived from CESNET-TimeSeries24 using statistical anomaly labels across random, entity-group, and temporal holdouts.

03RESOURCE-AWARE QUANTUM INFERENCEAdaptive-Shot Hybrid Quantum Anomaly Detection for Tactile Internet Security: Reliability-Aware Measurement Allocation Under Resource ConstraintsReliability-aware quantum measurement allocation

I study how measurement cost affects decision stability by allocating additional quantum measurements to predictions near a decision threshold.

Finite-shot inferenceReliabilityReproducibility
METHODOLOGY

The validation-calibrated policy escalates through 128, 256, 512, and 1024 cumulative shots. Simulated finite-shot inference compares measurement cost and decision reliability against fixed-shot and matched-budget controls across leakage-safe holdouts.

03 / BIOGRAPHY

Academic and
Professional Background

I conduct research in quantum networking, hybrid quantum machine learning, and cybersecurity.

My research connects reproducible quantum-network studies, hybrid quantum–classical learning, and cybersecurity. I study how unreliable links and limited measurements shape resource allocation and decision reliability, with explicit evaluation protocols and reusable research code.

At Iowa State University, I pursue a Master of Science in Computer Engineering and contribute through graduate research and teaching. My earlier cybersecurity engineering experience informs how I think about building and evaluating dependable systems.
